T&C
Terms and Conditions of the German Speakers Association e.V. for the Online Purchase of the 2028 Global Speakers Summit Tickets
These General Terms and Conditions apply equally to all genders. For better readability, the masculine form is used.
The following General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter „T&C“) apply to contracts for the sale of participation rights for events (hereinafter „Seats“), between the German Speakers Association e.V. (hereinafter „GSA“), represented by its President, and the buyer via the internet through the online ticket shop of the respective event website (hereinafter „Website“).
By placing an order, the buyer (hereinafter „Customer“) accepts the T&C. The GSA reserves the right to change these T&C at any time. Changes take effect upon publication on the Website. Deviating regulations shall not apply.
1. Contracting Parties
The GSA is responsible for the allocation of participation seats. By purchasing participation seats, contractual relationships are established exclusively between the respective Customer and the GSA.
2. Conclusion of Contract
By submitting an order and clicking the corresponding button on the Website, the Customer makes a binding offer to enter into a contract. During the ordering process, the Customer must first enter details such as the number of seats to be purchased, billing address, email address for the delivery of the tickets and confirmation, and all necessary data for payment processing.
After the order has been submitted and received, the Customer will receive, via email, an order confirmation and an invoice. The purchase contract (hereinafter „Contract“) regarding the participation seat is concluded between the Customer and the GSA upon receipt of payment for the participation right.
3. Price and Payment Terms
The applicable statutory VAT is shown separately in the booking confirmation. The prices stated on the respective Website at the time of ordering shall apply.
The total price including VAT is due for payment immediately upon conclusion of the contract. Payment can be made via PayPal, Stripe and, if applicable, bank transfer.
If a payment is charged back or not fully remitted, the order is automatically declared invalid. The invoice is issued by German Speakers Association e.V., Gerner Str. 7, 80638 Munich, VAT ID DE 814533894. The respective invoice is sent to the Customer as a PDF file together with the confirmation message.
By ordering tickets, the Customer agrees to electronic invoicing and unencrypted electronic delivery. For questions regarding payment/invoicing, please contact the GSA directly ([email protected]).
The Customer is obliged to check the accuracy and completeness immediately upon receipt. This includes, but is not limited to, the date and location of the event, the time, the price, and the number of tickets. Any discrepancies must be reported to the GSA in writing via email ([email protected]) within three working days.
4. Cancellation Terms
The order of participation seats is binding immediately upon receipt of the confirmation email and obligates the acceptance and payment of the booked seats.
- Super Early Bird Tickets & Full Frice Tickets: Are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Early Bird Tickets: Non-transferable. If your plans change, you may request a refund of your registration fee (excluding a non-refundable deposit of 20%) up until Monday, 1 January 2028.
An exception applies to cancelled or postponed events. In these cases, customers are entitled to a refund of the amount actually paid. The Customer retains the right to demonstrate that no damage or a significantly lower amount of damage was incurred. Further claims, in particular for compensation for futile expenses, are excluded.
5. Liability and Compensation
The GSA is only liable for damages to the Customer without limitation if these are due to its intentional or grossly negligent behavior.
In the event of a slightly negligent breach of duty, the GSA is only liable for the breach of an essential contractual obligation, provided that this is typical for the contract. This also applies to breaches of duty by legal representatives and/or vicarious agents of the GSA.
Overall liability is limited to direct and foreseeable damages at the time of contract conclusion. Liability for culpable injury to life, limb, or health remains unaffected by this. GSA does not guarantee that the Website will be free from viruses or other technical disruptions. To the extent permitted by law, liability in this regard is excluded. The GSA assumes no guarantee that the website is free of viruses or other disruptions. Liability is excluded.
6. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
There is no right of withdrawal for consumers, Section 312g (2) sentence 1 no. 9 BGB (German Civil Code), as the GSA events take place at a specific time and the subject matter is a service.
7. Code of Conduct
By participating in the GSS and accepting these Terms and Conditions, all attendees, speakers, staff, and volunteers at the GSS:
- Agree to adhere to the GSA Code of Professional Ethics at www.germanspeakers.org/die-gsa/code-of-professional-ethics/
- Agree to abide by all applicable local laws and venue policies.
- Understand that violations may result in actions ranging from a warning to removal from the event or more.
We are committed to providing a safe and welcoming experience for everyone. For more details or to report any issues, violations, or concerns, please contact the GSA Ethics Committee via email at [email protected].
8. Final Provisions

The place of jurisdiction for all legal disputes arising from this contract is Munich. The GSA is also entitled to bring an action at the Customer’s general place of jurisdiction at its discretion.
To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction for disputes arising from this contract shall be, Munich, Germany. Should individual or several provisions of these T&C be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining T&C and the validity of the contract shall not be affected. The parties undertake to agree on a new provision in place of the invalid provision that comes as close as possible to the economically intended purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies in the case of gaps in the regulations.
